Abstract

This lecture will cover nucleon-nucleus scattering at a fundamental level, detailing the Melbourne g-folding model of intermediate scattering and going into the low-energy regime of the MCAS (Multi-Channel Algebraic Scattering) theory. Connection to electron scattering and results for scattering from stable and exotic nuclei will be discussed.
