Abstract

I will describe the structure of the “Standard Model” of weak interactions and the precision experiments that support it. In this model, there is a well-defined role that the Higgs Boson must play. Based on this understanding, I will describe the Standard Model predictions for the decay pattern of the Higgs boson.
