Abstract

I will describe the consequences of models of the Higgs field for modifications of the decay pattern of the Higgs Boson. I will explain how to determine this pattern experimentally, using the the method of Effective Field Theory. I will also discuss the idea that the Higgs boson is a bridge to new, weakly coupled sectors of elementary particles.
