Abstract

Intended as a primer for my Oct. 31 talk, this is an introduction to graduate students about the basic knowledge of black holes, Hawking evaporation, information loss paradox, flying mirrors, analog black hole in condensed matter and plasmas, and some basic knowledge of plasma wakefield physics. Non-graduate students who are curious about these topics are also welcome to attend.
