In the present lecture, I firstly review a brief history of the pentaquarks, which consist of four quarks and one anti-quark. Secondly, I explain several possible theoretical methods for the description of the light and heavy pentaquarks. Finally, I suggest one very important experiment to measure the light pentaquark Θ+ at the J-PARC, using the kaon beam. Having listened to this lecture, students can understand the basic but important physical implications of both the light and heavy pentaquarks.
