Toward new frontiers: Encounter and synergy of state-of-art astronomical detectors and exotic quantum beams

Description

 In this research project, we will link the state-of-the-art detector technology for space X-ray, gamma-ray observation and three "exotic" quantum beams: negative muon, high energy photon and polarized RI beams for which Japan leads research fields. We will extend research in basic physics as well as explore new developments for applied research. Newly started publicly opened research projects will work together with the planned research groups. We believe that research that crosses the field or research of a different field application using outputs of our programs will produce unexpected "meeting" and synergistic effects. We will organize this workshop to share information between almost independent research groups and to drive future cooperative research smoothly.
